Step One: School should attempt to resolve truancy issues in accordance with state statutes.
Step Two: Send an initial letter to Stephanie Rammel "Attn: Intake" at 3 unexcused so they have time to make interventions prior to 7 unexcused days.
Step Three: At 7 unexcused days, a petition can be files. However, the county attorney's office may not accept it if there has not been an intervention.
Note: A petition can be filed for students 16-17, but it most likely will not be accepted.
