Step One: School should attempt to resolve truancy issues in accordance with state statutes.
Step Two: If student continues to accrue truant days, send the following information to Peter by fax:
Step Three: Human services will look into the situation and/or refer student to court. School should continue to notify county of continued truancy dates.

- Letter to county concerning truancy of student.
- Attendance report with family information, DOB, absences, address, phone numbers, etc.
- Copies of all letters and log of any effort made to connect with the family.
Step Three: Human services will look into the situation and/or refer student to court. School should continue to notify county of continued truancy dates.
