Step One: School sends letter to student/family at the three day truancy point and attempts to resolve truancy issues with family.
Step Two: School notifies Jolleen of students with continuing truancy issues. She will invite them to the monthly truancy intervention meeting hosted by the county attorney.
Note: Please try to notify Jolleen by the middle of the month. For the 2012-2013 school year AIM meetings will occur the second Monday of the month, except November. November's AIM meeting will occur on the 19th.
Step Three: File a petition with county attorney's office if student continues to be truant (seven days minimum).
